What is time?

To me, time is a larger concept that affects us all. Time is in the day to day, but it is also the bigger picture. Time can be a second, or it can be generations and generations. Time is something that affects us all, and something that we all try to fight, whether it is not getting older or not wanting to say goodbye eventually. It something that we cannot control or have any say over, which is something that we aren't really used to in our generation, where we have control and say over so much in our life. I also think of the emotions time can inflict on us. It can surprise us, scare us, excite us and change us.
